Coordination Meetings with the Social Democratic Party “Lana”

A coordination meeting was held on Monday evening between the Administrative Committee of the Lebanese National Alliance and the Political Bureau of the Social Democratic Party “Lana”.

Mr. Namir Shahin, from the Lebanese National Alliance, provided an explanation about the circumstances of the Alliance’s establishment, emphasizing the urgent need to restore collective action within the Lebanese opposition movement.

He also highlighted the importance of institutionalizing national struggle based on objective and sustainable foundations to enhance the effectiveness of joint efforts in achieving the desired national goals.

Meanwhile, MP Halima Kaakour from the “Lana” Party presented her perspective on organizing collective action and restoring the value of partisan work, based on redefining political engagement through the lens of values.

She expressed her hope for enhanced cooperation and knowledge exchange among the forces of national opposition to confront the current challenges and difficulties.

This meeting is part of ongoing efforts to coordinate and collaborate among various forces working to build a transformative path that reflects the Lebanese people’s aspirations for justice and democracy.

The LNA board was presented by Chairman Namir Chahine, Dr Hassan Yehia, Mr Jean Boustani, Mrs Suzane Abu Zaki, Mr Toni Harrouk, Mrs Hiam Halabi,  Mrs Suzane Baajour, Mr Ali Mneimneh, Mr Raymond Nammour and Mr Mostafa Kashtan.
