The Leadership School for Lebanon's Next State Builders.
Lebanon will not be rebuilt by slogans. It requires leaders who can read a budget and a constitution, organize across divides, withstand a hostile interview, and answer to the public for every decision.
The National Leadership Institute prepares them — through fourteen courses, a disciplined AI Readiness practice woven through every month, a cumulative capstone project, one-to-one mentorship, and a Grand Simulation that tests everything before the certificate says anything.

Enrollment, mentor, and placement figures are published only once verified after the first cohort — the Academy does not print invented results.
The Curriculum
Five pillars. One cumulative build.
Fourteen Arabic-taught courses move each participant from leading the self, to leading others, to understanding the Lebanese state as it actually works, to leading national change — while every course adds one documented layer to their capstone file.

The discipline every course, every campaign, and the capstone leans on.
Participants research, write, analyze, organize, and verify information constantly through the year — with AI assisting at every step. The AI Readiness Track builds that discipline early and keeps reinforcing it: five sessions in the opening weeks of Month 1, run alongside orientation rather than delaying it, then a monthly throughline for the rest of the programme. The rule that governs it never changes — AI may assist the leader, but it never replaces judgment, responsibility, ethics, or accountability.

AI Literacy & Leadership Judgment
What AI is and isn't, common failure modes, and biomimicry-inspired problem solving applied to civic and institutional design.
SESSION 2
Prompt Engineering & Applications
Role–context–task–evidence prompting, live labs turning weak requests into strong ones, applied to memos, speeches, and reports.
SESSION 3
Research, Verification & Data
Question-to-research-plan discipline, responsible data collection and fusion, and claims graded verified, plausible, disputed, or unsupported.
SESSION 4
Communication & Execution
Disciplined public tone, hostile Q&A preparation, bilingual translation review, and meetings converted into tracked, owned action.
SESSION 5
Agentic AI & Responsible Use
AI assistants and agentic workflows kept under human approval, cyber and privacy discipline, and the signed AI Integrity Charter.
What a graduate of this track can do
1Explain what generative AI can and cannot do in civic and political work, and recognize hallucination, bias, and manipulation risks before they reach the public.
2Write disciplined prompts — role, context, task, evidence, format, constraints — using the same framework across all twelve months.
3Summarize long documents and verify claims through source comparison, evidence grading, and claim-by-claim labeling.
4Draft and improve speeches, statements, briefs, and policy memos in a serious, evidence-based, non-sectarian tone — in Arabic and English.
5Map stakeholders, prepare for hostile questions, and turn meetings into owners, deliverables, and follow-up dates.
6Design a safe AI assistant or agentic workflow with explicit human-approval gates, and protect confidential LNA/NLI information from day one.
The required portfolio — nine artifacts, not attendance
Certification follows the NLI standard: performance over attendance. Every participant submits and defends:
1AI Judgment & Innovation Memo — personal risks, rules, and one AI-driven improvement idea
2Prompt Library — 12 reusable prompts for research, writing, meetings, data, and red-team critique
3Document Summary — one page, assumptions and risks made explicit
4Verified Political & Data Brief — source comparison and a claim-verification table
5Communication Pack — 90-second speech, 150-word statement, hostile Q&A
6Execution Report — owner, deliverable, deadline, measurement, follow-up date
7AI Assistant Workflow Map — a safe workflow with human-approval gates
8AI Operating Routine — a weekly personal workflow for the NLI year
9Integrity Charter — signed commitment to ethical, private, secure, transparent AI use
Pass standard: 70% minimum score across six weighted areas — verification discipline and analytical quality count for 40% combined — every portfolio artifact submitted, at least 85% attendance, and a short oral defense of the political brief and communication pack. A pass rate touching 100% is treated as a quality alarm, not a result to celebrate.
Reinforced every month, not taught once and forgotten
The five sessions land in the opening weeks. The discipline they build is then required, by name, in every stage that follows:

The AI Integrity Charter
Every participant signs it before receiving the certificate. Among its commitments, the participant will:

What the certificate means: a graduate has demonstrated the minimum discipline needed to use AI responsibly for the rest of the NLI year — clear prompting, source verification, political analysis, public communication, organizational execution, and ethical restraint.
Instruction is Arabic-first with English tool vocabulary and bilingual practice; this page is the English reference edition, consistent with the rest of the Academy.
The Applied Pillar — NLI-E15 / E16 / E17
Where knowledge becomes proven competence.
A quarter of the programme is applied. Three components decide whether a participant graduates — and some candidates must actually fail for the certificate to mean anything.

The National Crisis
A compound rolling crisis — a wide service blackout, an explosive rumor, live media pressure — strikes an institution the team leads. Data arrives in contradictory bursts.

A five-party table over a local resources file with entangled interests and sensitive communal memory — each side holding secret role files.

The Accountability Hearing
Each participant stands before an accountability panel interrogating their decisions from the first two stations and their own project file. A real, uncomplimentary interrogation.

Design rule: scenarios are entirely replaced every cohort and remain confidential — leakage would empty the instrument of its measuring value. Assessment: standardized observer forms per station (30% × 3) + a 48-hour self-learning report (10%).

The Capstone Project

The defense panel: an independent academic from outside the movement (chair — non-negotiable, protecting the certificate from the 'partisan diploma' charge), an Academic Council representative, and a field practitioner. 15-minute presentation, 25-minute interrogation.

Mentors are practitioners with clean integrity records; never the participant's direct organizational superior. Session logs record date and focus only — content is confidential. Assessed pass/incomplete — no grades, protecting the honesty of the relationship.
Graduation
Five requirements. No exceptions.
1Pass all fourteen courses (70% each) with attendance of no less than 85%
2Pass the Grand Simulation — NLI-E15 (70%); required to advance to the defense
3Pass the capstone defense before the panel — NLI-E16
4Complete the six-session mentorship track with its documented log — NLI-E17
5Sign the Graduates' Integrity Charter — a continuing condition: the certificate is revocable by reasoned Academic Council decision upon grave breach
The hard rule: panels that never fail anyone produce a paper, not a credential. A pass rate touching 100% cohort after cohort is treated institutionally as a quality alarm demanding a standards review — not a celebration.
